AVC are experts at implementing both Local Area (LAN) and Wide Area (WAN) networks on a large scale, including cable-based and wireless connections, customised to your specifications and with the particular functions of your business in mind.

We install and upgrade networks in homes, schools, colleges, offices and large blue-chip organisations. We can also link employees’ home computers and laptops to their company’s network, using modern telecommunications connected to the office – so that they can be in constant contact with their company, enjoying all the IT facilities found in the workplace without leaving home.

AVC can:
  • Supply a full networking service to include design specification, cabling and installation based on Ethernet protocols and CAT 5e. Can include design, implementation and maintenance of LANs and WANs. The wired solution can also be complemented by the newer wireless technology based on the 802.11 a/b/g standard.
  • Full cabling services for existing networks, including replacing/moving existing cables coupled with rack patching technology to provide reliable and safe cable routes through your building; and employing fibre optic cabling to link building to building.
  • Upgrade existing servers or replace them with new ones for services such as SQL Databases or MS Exchange.
  • Implement effective Anti-Virus and Firewall facilities to ensure the safety of your business information.
  • Provide a complete email system including mail filtering, multiple domain hosting and Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam filtering.
  • Enable you to monitor the email and Internet usage of your employees to guard against breaches of company policy and the Law.
  • Set up a pro-active network management using the latest technology – enabling services to be automatically restarted or alerts sent via email, pager or SMS message to your mobile phone.
