Royal Bank of Scotland

  • Full managed service (site surveys, configuration, logistics, installation and floor walking) for 80,000 units (workstations and servers) across RBSG estate.
  • Return and management of disposal of legacy equipment.
  • Phased roll-outs including the configuration and installation of Cisco switches and swap-out of cabinet doors on large communication cabinets.
  • All equipment for these phased roll-outs being configured to exacting branch specifications in purpose-built secure hangar at our AVC configuration centre.
  • All on-site work co-ordinated to meet exacting installation windows so as not to impact the clients business.

 

Lloyds
  • Set-up and installation of infrastructure to support the installation of 70,000 VOIP telephones across the Lloyds TSB estate.
  • Site surveys across 3500 branches/offices.
  • Installation and upgrade of WAN/LAN infrastructure.
  • Configuration and installation of Cisco hardware.
  • Phase 2 involves the physical logistics/stock management and installation of voice over IP (VOIP) telephones, with a requirement to deploy over 70,000 units.

 

Zurich
  • Deployment of a new IT platform that will migrate from existing Windows NT and 2000 desktop environments to a standard, flexible, reliable and resilient desktop working environment and a rapid global migration to Windows XP Professional.
  • Deployment of 10,000 PCs across UK estate of 174 offices over an 8-month roll-out period. This included the coordination and upgrade of home users/remote-based staff. Key to the service was the seamless migration of each individual’s data onto the new platform and ongoing desk side engineering support.
  • AVC consistently provided 70 engineers on a daily basis spread across the Zurich Financial Services estate, to complete this deployment. Strong project planning and a flexible workforce were key to the success of this project.

 

Bradford

  • Site surveys/configuration and installation services for roll-out of new PCs and printers across 207 Bradford & Bingley branch locations.
  • All equipment deployed was pre-configured to site-specific requirements at our build facility prior to installation.
  • Services included technical floor-walking support, post-installation and secure HDD data-wipe and environmental disposal of legacy PCs.
  • This project was successfully completed within an 8-week roll-out duration.
